Who I am

 

I am a twenty-three-year veteran independent financial service (Insurance & Investments) professional and Certified Personal Finance Counselor turned Prosperity Coach. I am a husband of thirty-five years, a father of four (three sons and a daughter) and a Grandfather of four as well as a U.S. Army combat veteran, an ordained minister, a CDL holder (that's right I can drive the big rigs), a world traveler, (I've set my backside on every contentment except Antarctica) and an Entrepreneur.
Aside from God and my family, my personal loves have always been history, spirituality, business, music, and vino. Yet more importantly I love helping others build the foundation for their personal financial success and the confidence and knowledge base needed to ensure consistent prosperity for themselves and their families.

 

Why do I do this

 

Everyone who works in America has the means and ability to secure a happy and truly prosperous living for themselves and their families. 

The Bad News is that, as a society, we are just beginning to place value on financial education which means we have two, three, or even four generations of people that simply do not know how to move from "doing everything right" and still living from paycheck to paycheck to grasping the full range of knowledge required to truly prosper.

The Good News is that, while it takes more than knowing how to balance a check book (for those who still use those) or reconcile online statements and sticking to a "budget" (ugh, I'm really not a fan of that word.) to achieve true prosperity, there is a growing number of both knowledgeable people and essential resources to assist anyone willing to undertake the journey in securing true, lasting, fulfilling prosperity.

I have been blessed, both in my business ventures and in my semi-retirement, to help hundreds of individuals and families transition from the consistent bleakness of that paycheck to paycheck existence to one of real financial security and personal abundance. I love to witness those moments when those I am helping realize that their lives have changed; that moment you can see on their faces when they know, with full confidence, that they are genuinely financially secure and, more importantly, confident in their ability to not only stay that way but to go beyond security to prosperity.

This blog is my ongoing attempt to do the same, even if its just in small steps at a time, for as many people as I can.
